Ectoplasmic Form

ECTOPLASMIC FORM

The Ectoplasmic Form of a Soul is made of a translucent ectoplasmic goo, but otherwise is identical to the Souls natural form. A Soul will typically appear as it did at its original time of death. In addition Souls have the following elements to determine their appearance. You must be trained in Mysticism or Philosophy to read and understand Auras. Each degree of success reveals one of the below in order.

Core

A Souls Core color and brighness are determined by the following.

Core Color
Core Color is determined by a Souls overall morality.
White = Good
Grey = Neutral or Unaligned
Black = Evil

Brightness
This can be altered with a successful Concentration or Composure check (Easy, DC 10)
Tethered = A Living Soul still tethered to its host body, or a Dead Soul possessing a body appears to glow very dimly when viewed.
Untethered = A Dead Soul or a Living Soul untethered to its host body appears to glow brighter than Tethered Souls when viewed.

Aura

A Souls Aura outline and aura color are determined by the following.

Outline
Outline is determined by a Souls overall ethics. Strong Emotions can cause outlines to appear to move rapidly, while calm emotions appear as gentle movements.
Crisp = Orderly
Hazy = Neutral or Unaligned
Jagged = Chaotic

Aura Color
Aura Color is determined by a Souls current mood. Lighter tints for more positive emotions, darker shades for more negative emotions. Mixed emotions show as a mix of colors.
